Chief Wigitimschol is our Wet'suwet'en elder named Dan Michell. He is the hereditary chief of the territory that was directly impacted by Equity. They lost a salmon resource from Buick Creek which flows from Goosley Lake (directly below Equity) and they lost all of the trout species in Goosley Lake. His cabin in this photo is directly below the Equity mine site and, quite literally, the ARD ran and runs in his backyard where he still harvests beaver and moose along with other members of his Clan group.
