The Department of Mining Engineering is committed to being a leader in education and research in a new era where mining assumes a more responsive and responsible role in the world. In addition to teaching, the Mining department faculty work with graduate students and staff to undertake research in all aspects of mining in order to study and improve the industry for future generations.
