EAGLE (Environmental-Aboriginal Guardianship through Law and Education)

EAGLE (Environmental-Aboriginal Guardianship through Law and Education) is a non-profit organization that combines the strengths of both Aboriginal and environmental law to assist Aboriginal Peoples in protecting the land and environment for the benefit of all Canadians. EAGLE is a unique national Aboriginal organization whose mandate is to:
* combine both Aboriginal and environmental law to protect the environment for the benefit of all future generations;
* advance the understanding of Aboriginal Rights and responsibilities as cultural stewards of the land; and
* mentor Aboriginal careers in environmental protection and the law.
